Starting a Business. Now is the Time!

Many of you have always dreamed of owning or starting your own business.   What is holding you back?

Now is the best time to go for that dream.  You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.  Don’t let the economy scare you.  Don’t let a lack of funding or knowledge keep you from moving forward.  You will never know until you try and if you fail, then you fail.  The worst part is living with regrets for not taking a chance.

When I was younger my ENTIRE dream was to create and build my own t-shirt and clothing line.  I had sketchbooks filled with ideas and my plans for world domination.  I even started to customize apparel and began building fans of my work but then I got scared and feared failure on a large scale…and I quit.  Years later the same ideas I longed to put on t-shirts found their way into the mainstream market only by different artists and with huge success.  I have  regretted letting go of the business dream and not following through for over 22 years now.

Friends, I want to encourage you to not hold back from what you dream of doing and are passionate about.  There is never a perfect time to start a business or jump into the unknown.   I promise you that even if it doesn’t work out in the long run that you will never look back on what you could have done.   Go for it and live the dream!

Awesome post James!I’d love to see some of our old artwork.

To paraphrase: Ben Franklin said the average person dies at age 25 because that’s when their dreams died.

For those who do start a new business, you need to get an attractive, affordable and effective website from (shameless plug) Couldn’t resist.

Another great post! Reminds me of being in church when you feel like the preacher is speaking directly to you. And then Bryce adds that comment about “dying at 25″…thanks Bryce!

I just need to find an extra 4 hours in the day – then I’d be set. Either that or give up on sleep altogether.

Thanks Bryce for the shameless plug and paraphrase!

Bruce – thanks for the feedback and hope all is well! Tell me how you get the extra four hours if you achieve it.
