Best Western of Albany, New York: Custom WordPress Website

The Best Western Albany Airport Inn website (currently in development) was designed to convey comfort and relaxation. Many hotel related sites I researched were sterile and corporate feeling. We wanted to achieve a totally different vibe from the very first look.

The homepage incorporates the main message: that WiFi, a Hot Breakfast, and Airport Shuttle services are ALWAYS free! The image will be a standard WP rotating image plugin and the testimonial ties in the above the fold area to showcase what the owner believes to be the most important information of the site. The design is minimalistic and inviting.

Answers of Truth: Custom WordPress Website

This was simply one of the best projects I’ve ever been able to work on. Answers of Truth (coming soon) is a Christian website focusing on sharing Biblical truths in a non-judgmental or confrontational way. My goal was to design a website that was simplistic yet powerful, informative but light. I believe there is a great balance with this design layout and that the emphasis is placed on the important call to action items in the above the fold section. More screenshots will be coming soon!

TeenAuto.com: Custom WordPress Website Design

TeenAuto.com is a custom WordPress website that will be launching to help teenagers make great decisions when purchasing a car or learning to drive. The design has a “futuristic” feel to it and I tried to capture the essence of a shiny automobile and dashboard gadgets. My goal was also keeping the site energetic for the young audience and clutter free.

I also developed the custom logo for TeenAuto.com as well as their Twitter background image.

Torque: Custom WordPress Website Design

Torque is an Australian company that focuses on real world data analytics and data driven marketing for their clients. Torque commissioned me to develop their brand new, custom WordPress website – which was quite a challenge given that our goal was creating a landing page style homefront for the site. While the content takes a whopping 4800 pixels in height to fit it on the homepage, I think the way the design turned out is amazing and it’s a very cool way to get that content showcased in a logical, professional way.

Some of the nifty features will be the brands and team section which will be interactive in the form of HTML 5 and jQuery slider. The backend was created so that the Torque team could all of the homepage content without having to touch any code. The excellent development was done by Bill Erickson.
