Best Western Albany Airport Inn hired James Dalman to create a warm, cozy, and inviting website that would encourage higher booking rates and sales.
My focus was to create a website that communicated that the hotel was a comfortable place to stay. Many hotel related sites we researched were sterile and corporate feeling. I wanted to achieve a totally different vibe from the very first moment a visitor reached the site.
The homepage needed to incorporate Best Western Albany’s main message and focus — that WiFi, a hot breakfast, and airport shuttle services are ALWAYS free for guests! The main paragraph is an editable region that can easily be changed and we implemented an image slider per the client’s request. This image area is used to showcase the 4-5 offerings of the hotel. A testimonial section is another feature that needed to be included to show visitors the positive feedback of so many of guests.
The rest of the website is simple and clean. I wanted to avoid clutter and place an emphasis on the main call to action, Make A Reservation.
