Are you a domain name junkie? I am! I get more ideas than I can possibly ever chase and every idea causes me to begin the search for another domain. I currently own 45 domain names…you might say that I have an addiction. The problem is not that I have many great ideas and that I find the domains to accompany them – the problem is that I can only focus on a couple of things if I want to complete them and do them well. Do you ever experience that? Do you have great ideas that you want to pursue but realize you only have so much time, money, or energy to complete them?
I read in some book (I don’t remember which off hand) that we should focus on the God things and not the good things? I want to ask your advice. How do you determine which ones are God ideas or how do you choose what you should hold onto or let go?
My goal for 2007 is to start letting go and be the “Master Over My Domain”. For me that means actually letting domain names expire (gulp) and leaving some of the good ideas to someone else. It might mean something entirely different for you. I do believe that we can only become effective if we have focus and clarity of our vision and our purpose. So how will you decide on what ventures /ideas /tasks that you will give your life to? Please feel free to share your thoughts.
